Belinda Evans, a coloratura soprano, born and raised in Somerset, obtained a Vocal Diploma at the Welsh College of Music and Drama following a BA(Hons) Music Degree from Bath Spa University College.
She is a Britten-Pears Young Artist and now studies with Laura Sarti. Recent operatic roles include Venus, Venus and Adonis, Opera Lyrica; Despina, Così fan tutte and Norina, Don Pasquale with Pavilion Opera; Violetta, La Traviata, Opera UK; Frasquita, Carmen and Musetta, La bohème, New Devon Opera; Fiordiligi, Così fan tutte, Savannah Philharmonic USA and Mimì in Opera Up Close’s Award winning production of La bohème at the Soho Theatre.
Belinda's voice, and its versatility, has led her from singing at The Rugby World Cup in Australia, to film & TV appearances, to contracts in London’s West End. She also enjoys being one third of critically acclaimed close harmony trio the Jazz-à-belles, and front woman of the electroacoustic band, String Theory.

Belinda has been a Peripatetic Singing Teacher in schools and colleges since graduating in 2002, and has a great deal of experience in education work, namely with Pavilion Opera and Garsington Opera.
Belinda is thrilled to be back in Scotland to perform with the Rosenethe Singers.
