Meet the soloists

Ulrike Wutscher is an Austrian mezzo-soprano living in Scotland. She has appeared as Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Britten), Daniel in Belshazzar (Handel), recently as the 3rd Lady in The Magic Flute (Mozart), as well as Pluton and Apollo in Orpheus (Charpentier).

 

Ulrike studied singing at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien (MA). She continued her training in London at Trinity Laban (PGAD).

She always aims to improve her performance by attending masterclasses and coachings with outstanding musicians such as Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Julius Drake and Michael Chance.

Ulrike works as a singing teacher in Stirling.
