In 1994, Matthew Beetschen succeeded George Wilson as musical director, demonstrating that it was possible to conduct the choir without being called George! Matthew continued the development of the Rosenethe Singers to beyond its 50th anniversary in 2014.

Notable highlights have included singing the 2013 world premiere of At the Manger, a piece written for the choir by Alex Beetschen to mark Britten's centenary.

In 2012, we performed Rachmaninov's Vespers by candlelight in the wonderful setting of Dunblane Cathedral, and subsequently were invited to perform it at St. Machar's Cathedral, Aberdeen, as part of their Festival of Sacred Music. The latter provided a timely reminder of the choir’s early repertoire of challenging music suitable for a chamber choir.

In April 2009 the choir was invited to Berlin to perform Britten's War Requiem with the Berliner Koncert Chor and the Embassy Singers. This collaboration was repeated when the choirs met again to sing the work on Remembrance Sunday that year, in Dunblane Cathedral.

March 2008 saw another world premiere by Rosenethe Singers, Tom David Wilson's Ecce Homo, composed for words written by one of Rosenethe's own basses, Clive Wright.
